Cinema Card

The Card enables a disabled cinema guest to receive a complimentary ticket for someone to go with them when they visit a participating cinema. Card is issued to the SEND person so they can be accompanied by any appropriate carer,

Max Card

The Max Card is designed to make days out more financially accessible for families of children with additional needs. The card offers free or discounted entry to great attractions.

SEND Sessions at Super Tramp Sunderland

SEND sessions are strictly for customers with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. The session is open to anyone aged 5+, with one free parent or carer allowed access onto the trampolines with every SEND customer.

Pathways 4 All

A North East parent led charity, offering family friendly play and leisure facilities for children and young people with disabilities & additional needs.

Alan Shearer Centre

A specialist recreational, sensory and social resource for disabled people of all ages, catering to a wide spectrum of need. Facilities are completely free to use.

Special Olympics Sunderland

Special Olympics are Britain’s largest provider of year round sports training and competition program for all people with learning disabilities.

Useful Vision

Useful Vision is a registered charity providing positive opportunities and fun-packed events for blind or partially sighted children around the North East.

New Hope

New Hope North East is a Voluntary Organization supporting disabled children/young people and their families from a diverse range of backgrounds in breaking down barriers which prevent them from accessing social, educational, economic, health and wellbeing provisions available, have their voices heard, and their needs met.

Amie's Friends

Amie's Friends is an exciting new group for young adults with learning disabilities.

Include 'In' Autism

Provides support to families and individuals who live with autism and associated conditions which includes learning disabilities, ADHD, challenging behaviour, anxiety, OCD, SPD, PDD, PDA, tourettes, complex needs, communication disorder and other additional needs associated with the disorder/condition.

Free Entry For Carers

Many places offer free entry for Carers (links below).  It is always worth checking with the venue if that is still the case, and what, if any, proof you need to take.  Some venues also have a ‘season’ card where you pay once and visit as often as you like, well worth checking out!
